Cancellation and Refund Timeline
If Cancelled Over 72 Hours Before Charter
Refund: The total amount minus service charges
Time to Process: 5-7 business days
Service Charge: €50 for credit/debit cards
Requirement: Cancellation must be requested via written communication
If Cancelled 24-72 Hours Prior to Charter
Refund: Half of the charter cost
Time to Process: 7-10 business days
Service Charge: €25 deducted from refund amount
Requirement: Must provide a valid cancellation reason; administrative costs apply
If Cancelled Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Refund: Refunds are not available
Special Exceptions: Consideration in emergency situations
Alternate Option: A charter credit might be offered at the discretion of our management
Requirement: Supporting documents required for emergencies
Cancellations Due to Weather
Weather Safety Assurance
Client safety is our highest concern. If the captain, who is properly certified, determines weather conditions to be hazardous for charter activities, we propose the following options:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling is not an option, a full refund is provided
- Reschedule: Transfer your charter to an alternative available date without extra charges
- Charter Credit: A credit valid for one year from the initial charter date
Evaluating Weather Conditions
Our evaluation of weather conditions includes:
- Analyzing wind speed and direction
- Evaluating wave heights and marine conditions
- Forecasting visibility and rainfall
- Minding Coast Guard advisories and bulletins
- Considering the safety assessment of the professional captain
Decision Making Time: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made at the latest 4 hours prior to the planned departure.
Medical Emergency Cancellation Policy
Acceptable Emergency Scenarios
We understand unexpected medical emergencies can arise. Special considerations might be given in conditions such as:
- Immediate illness or injury necessitating hospital care
- Passing of a close family member
- Unanticipated military deployment or legal orders
- Being summoned for jury duty or a court appearance
- Natural disasters impacting travel arrangements
Requirement for Documents
In this situation, the following documents are mandatory:
- A medical certification or hospital statement
- Death certificate (if relevant)
- Government military orders
- Legal summons or jury notification
- Travel advisories or state of emergency announcements
Handling: Requests for emergency refunds will be addressed within 3-5 business days when proper documentation is submitted.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Vessel Mechanical Failures
In the event that a technical mishap renders the predetermined vessel unusable:
- Substitute Vessel: We'll seek to secure a comparable replacement
- Entire Refund: Issued if a fitting alternative cannot be found
- Partial Refund: Given if replacement vessel comes at a different cost
- Supplementary Compensation: We may offer additional recompense for the inconvenience
Crew No-Show
In the rare case that the certified crew is unavailable:
- An alternate crew will be sought
- Complete refund if charter can't be conducted
- Rescheduling without any extra fee
Method for Refund Processing
Refund Modes
Refunds are credited to the same payment method originally used:
- Credit Cards: Processed within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Processed within 7-10 business days
- Cash or Check: Processed within 3-5 business days

A €50 fee for cancellations executed more than 72 hours before
Bank Transfer Reimbursements
€25 processing fee applied to all bank transfer refunds
International Transaction Processing
International transactions may incur additional fees
Credit Policy for Charter Services
Occasions for Credit Issuance
Credits for future charters may be offered instead of returns in specific instances:
- Cancellations within less than 24 hours' notice
- Cancellations prompted by weather
- Voluntary rescheduling requests
- Interruptions in operations
Conditions for Credit Use
- Validity Period: Valid for 12 months since issuance
- Non-transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to different individuals
- Monetary Value: Equivalent to the full charge of the charter, without additional fees
- Application: Redeemable upon any available charter booking
- Extension Limit: Credits expire after 12 months with no extensions
Partial Refunds for Incomplete Services
Interruptions of Services
If your sailing experience is disrupted or ends sooner than expected due to circumstances we control:
- A proportionate refund for the part of the service that was not used
- Credit equivalent to the remaining duration for a future service
- Free additional services or upgrades as compensation
Interruptions Caused by Guests
If a charter is discontinued early due to the actions or safety breaches by guests:
- No returns for the remaining time
- Full payment requirement stays in effect
- Further charges could be applied
Procedure for Dispute Resolution
If you find yourself disagreeing with a refund decision, you can:
- Request an assessment by our supervisory team
- Submit more documents or proof
- Look for a solution via consumer protection bodies
- Seek legal courses as permitted by applicable statutes

Our staff will confirm receipt of your request within a day, consider it in comparison with this policy, communicate a decision within two days, and if endorsed, proceed with the refund in the aforementioned time frames.
Essential Remarks
- All requests for refunds should be made in a written format
- Refunds are issued in € irrespective of the currency used at the time of payment
- Purchasing travel coverage is highly encouraged
- Notice of any modifications to this policy will be given 30 days in advance
- All refunds are subject to governing taxes and legal stipulations
